Adriano Naves de Brito is, since 2005, professor at Universidade do Vale do Rio dos Sinos (Unisinos University). Between 1994 and 2003 he was professor at Universidade Federal de Goiás (Federal University of Goiás - UFG). His Ph. D. is from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul - UFRGS), 1998, and he has studied in Germany, Bielefeld University (1990-1993). His postdoctoral studies were done at Tübingen University (2003), also in Germany. He has been doing researches on Philosophy of Language, Theory of Knowledge and Ethics. Among his most important publications are the books Proper Names: Semantics and Ontology". UnB, 2003 and "Ethics" (Org.). UnB, 2007. His is now researching in the field of naturalized Ethics.
